Brodeur May Consider Trade To Contender

Sep 25, 2014 7:14 AM

Martin Brodeur wants to lead the Devils back to the postseason. But, if his Devils are not a playoff contender, he'd at least consider the possibility of accepting a trade.

The goaltender told the Newark Star-Ledger on Tuesday that he'd consider waiving his no-trade clause if the Devils were interested in making a deal.

"I hope it will never happen, but if there is a situation that could be really fun for me and really good for the Devils, why not? It's not like I'm going to play 25 more years here," Brodeur told the Star-Ledger.
